Lucas #9600 Joint & Termination Sealant is a 100% solids non-shrinking moisture cure urethane sealant intended for sealing large joints and roof termination bars. Minimal odor, contains no solvents and less than 10 grams per liter VOC. Excellent adhesion to concrete, masonry, EPDM, PVC, wood, vinyl, metal, Kynar®, and most other common building materials. Lucas #8015 TPO Primer is required for application TPO roofs.

Application:

To use this product cut the tip to the desired size and puncture the foil seal. Small orifice size and/or an incompletely punctured seal may cause material to extrude around the plunger. Surface to be sealed must be clean. Maximum recommended joint width is 2 inches. Maximum recommended depth is 1 inch. Use backer rod for deep joints. Use to fill honeycombs and seal joints and penetrations in below grade concrete and masonry walls prior to application of Lucas #4700 Fluid Applied Waterproofing Membrane. #9600 may be used with Lucas PolyPan® enclosures for difficult through wall flashings and steep slope roofing applications. Coverage rate is approximately 25 ft per 10 oz. cartridge for a ¼ inch bead.

Lucas #9600 is paintable within 24 hours. Application below 32ºF (0º C) is possible however curing requires free moisture in the air and will not begin until the temperature is above freezing.

Shelf life: Two years from the date of manufacture. Store in a cool dry place. High temperatures and high humidity during storage will shorten the product’s shelf life.
