The Penn Fathom II Casting Special 15 Star Drag Reel is perfect for shore anglers looking to cast long distances while still having the power to control large fish in tough conditions. A tough metal construction combines with precision gearing and a powerful HT-100 star drag system to give you all the pulling power you need to land those big catches.
This ‘Casting Special’ version is capable of holding 15% more line than the standard 15 model. There is also a knobby magnetic adjustment that fine-tunes the brakes for casting control. The live spindle free-floating spool includes a housed pair of high-performance bearings that help tune the reel for increased casting distance.
