The RX3 Off-Rack Storage System is designed to help you organize your gym without sacrificing training space. By adding a dedicated upright off to the side of your rack, you keep equipment accessible, balanced, and out of the way while maintaining a fully modular RX3 setup. Each off-rack storage system is built around one RX3 upright and at least one storage shelf. Additional shelves and plate sleeves can be added depending on your preferred configuration and upright height.

Shelf & Plate Capacity Guidelines

Shelf capacity depends on upright height.

84" Upright:

- Supports up to 4 shelves

- Supports up to 6 plate sleeves

92" Upright:

- Supports up to 5 shelves

- Supports up to 6 plate sleeves

These limits ensure proper spacing, usability, and long-term durability.

RX3 42" Kettlebell & Dumbbell Shelf

The RX3 42" shelf is designed for versatility:

- Can be installed flat for kettlebells, dumbbells, belts, and accessories

- Can be installed angled for easier dumbbell loading and unloading

- Includes a rubber anti-slip liner to protect equipment and reduce noise

Important Fitment Note: Extension Brackets

Some RX3 racks and cable towers position weight stacks or rear components closer to the uprights. In these cases, standard shelf mounting may interfere with moving parts.

For the following products, Shelf & Plate Sleeve Extension Sets are required when adding off-rack storage:

One extension bracket set is required per shelf or plate sleeve.

These extensions move the mounting point rearward, allowing shelves and plate sleeves to clear weight stacks while maintaining stability and compatibility with RX3 attachments.
