The SMA Sunny Tripower X STP 30-US-50 is an intelligent 30KW commercial string inverter featuring an integrated System Manager, three independent MPP trackers, and SMA ShadeFix string optimization for future-proof, maximum-yield commercial PV system design.

- Advanced DC AFCI Arc-Fault Protection Certified to UL 1699B Ed. 1 with integrated SunSpec PLC signal for module-level rapid shutdown compliance in accordance with UL 1741:2021.

The STP 30-US-50 delivers 30,000W nominal AC output power at 98% CEC efficiency, accepting up to 45,000Wp DC array power across a 515–800V MPP voltage range with three independent MPP trackers rated at 24A maximum input current each. Its OptiCool variable-speed forced convection cooling maintains reliable thermal performance across a -25°C to +60°C operating range.
Certified to UL 62109-1, UL 1699B Ed. 1, UL 3741, and CAN/CSA 22.2 No. 62109-1:16/62109-2:16, and compliant with IEEE 1547:2018, UL 1741 SB, CA Rule 21, HECO Rule 14H, and ISO-NE, the Tripower X meets all major US grid interconnection requirements. Advanced grid support capabilities include Volt-VAr, Volt-Watt, Frequency-Watt, and Ramp Rate Control for full utility compliance.
Dual Ethernet ports, integrated WLAN, and SMA Modbus, SunSpec Modbus, and Speedwire data protocols are included as standard, alongside a multi-function relay, extension module slot, and 6 digital inputs for comprehensive system integration. A 10-year standard warranty with optional extensions of up to 20 years total provides long-term investment confidence.
