The SRNE ML2440 is a compact 40A 12/24V MPPT solar charge controller designed for off-grid residential, RV, and small battery system applications requiring quiet natural cooling, flexible load control, and integrated PV, battery, and load management in a single unit.
Key Features
- 99%+ MPPT Tracking Efficiency Buck-topology MPPT charging delivers over 99% tracking efficiency and up to 98% maximum charging conversion efficiency, maximizing energy harvest from panels wired in 2-series or parallel configurations.
- Multiple Load Working Modes Five configurable load operating modes — light control, light control with time control, manual, debugging, and normal open — cover a wide range of lighting and general load applications.
- Multi-Battery Type Support Compatible with Lead-Acid, Li-ion, and user-defined battery chemistries across a 9–35Vdc battery voltage range, with rated charging current selectable to match system requirements.
- Bluetooth Mobile App Monitoring Optional BT-1 Bluetooth module enables wireless monitoring and control of all controller parameters via the SRNE mobile app, with RS232 and RS485 communication also supported.
- Fully Integrated All-in-One Design Simultaneous PV, battery, and load connections in a single compact enclosure reduce wiring complexity, save panel space, and simplify installation for off-grid systems.
The ML2440 delivers a rated charging current of 40A at 12/24Vdc auto-detected battery voltage, accepting PV arrays up to 100Vdc open-circuit voltage and up to 550W at 12V or 1,100W at 24V. The rated load current is 20A, supporting resistive, capacitive, and inductive load types at the system battery voltage.
Housed in an IP32 enclosure with natural convection cooling and absolutely silent operation, the ML2440 operates across a temperature range of -35°C to +45°C. Standard accessories include a BTS battery temperature sensor and RS485 8-pole communication cable, with the optional RM-5 LCD remote display, BT-1 Bluetooth module, USB-to-RS232 cable, and GP-2 IoT module available for expanded monitoring.
