Threaded rod and cover for structural use in conservatories!
High quality tie bar combining great strength and resilience with smooth clean finish, manufactured as an internal support for conservatories.
Used in conjunction with a tie bar kit that contains a central boss, with lugs and clevis for attaching to the conservatory, these tie bars can prevent the deflection in frames that can cause leaks, and event roof collapse.

Why fit tie bars?
Tie Bars are vitally important to some conservatory design. On larger, or heavier glass-roofed conservatories, tie bars help to maintain structural integrity of the conservatory. Fitted across the width of the conservatory at the base of the roof, and meeting a central boss that attached to the ridge, they prevent the vertical frame from splaying under the weight of the roof.
