The Orion-Tr 48/12-30 is purpose-built for systems requiring clean, stable 12V power from a 48V battery bank. With 360W continuous output at 40°C and up to 87% efficiency, it performs reliably in real-world operating conditions without compromise.
Installation is straightforward thanks to tool-free screw terminals accepting cable up to 16mm² (AWG6) and an IP43-rated enclosure when mounted with terminals facing downward. The compact form factor at 130 x 186 x 80mm fits neatly into tight electrical compartments on vehicles, vessels, and off-grid systems.
Compliant with EN 60950, EN 61000-6-3, EN 55014-1, and Automotive Directive ECE R10-5, the Orion-Tr meets stringent safety, emission, and immunity standards. This converter is not intended for battery charging — for charging applications, the Orion-Tr Smart is recommended.
