The Orion-Tr 48/24-5 is purpose-built for systems requiring clean, stable 24V power from a 48V battery bank. With 120W continuous output at 25°C and up to 86% efficiency, it delivers consistent, dependable performance across a wide range of real-world operating conditions.
Installation is straightforward thanks to tool-free screw terminals accepting cable up to 6mm² (AWG10) and an IP43-rated enclosure when mounted with terminals facing downward. The ultra-compact form factor at 100 x 113 x 47mm makes it ideal for space-constrained electrical compartments on vehicles, vessels, and off-grid systems.
Compliant with EN 60950, EN 61000-6-3, EN 55014-1, and Automotive Directive ECE R10-5, the Orion-Tr meets stringent safety, emission, and immunity standards. This converter is not intended for battery charging — for charging applications, the Orion-Tr Smart is recommended.
