Victron GX Touch 70 Protection Cover: Shield Your Display from UV Damage

Essential UV Protection for Your Victron GX Touch 70

The Victron GX Touch 70 Protection Cover is a purpose-built accessory designed to extend the lifespan of your GX Touch 70 display in outdoor and exposed installations. Prolonged exposure to sunlight can degrade screen materials, cause discolouration, and reduce touch sensitivity over time. This protective cover acts as a durable barrier, filtering harmful UV rays while maintaining full visibility and functionality of the display.

Constructed from high-quality, UV-stabilised plastic, the cover is engineered to withstand harsh Australian conditions, including intense sun, salt spray, and temperature fluctuations. Its slim profile (183.2 x 122.7 x 17.8 mm) adds minimal bulk, ensuring a clean, integrated look on your dashboard or mounting surface.

Designed for Seamless Integration

The cover features precision cutouts for cable management, allowing tidy routing of power and data cables without compromising protection. An embossed central logo adds a subtle, professional finish that aligns with Victron’s design language. Installation is straightforward—simply fit the cover over your GX Touch 70 (display sold separately) for instant protection.

Note: This cover is compatible with the standard surface-mount GX Touch 70 only. It is not suitable for the flush-mount model.

Why UV Protection Matters for Marine and Off-Grid Systems

In marine, caravan, and remote off-grid installations, displays are often mounted in direct sunlight. Without adequate protection, UV exposure can lead to brittle plastics, yellowing, and delamination of screen layers. The Victron GX Touch 70 Protection Cover mitigates these risks, helping to preserve the display’s clarity and touch accuracy over years of service. This is particularly critical for systems where reliable monitoring is essential, such as battery management, solar charging, and inverter control.

Protect Your Investment

Pair your GX Touch 70 with this purpose-designed cover to safeguard against environmental damage and maintain peak performance. Whether you’re monitoring a Victron Cerbo GX system on a yacht, in a 4WD, or at a remote cabin, this cover provides peace of mind that your display is shielded from the elements.
