Easy-fit, stainless steel replacement spacing plate, for use with the 45mm backset Paddock gearbox. Paddock gearboxes can be found on many popular multipoint locking systems, such as Yale Lockmaster, and Mila Master.

Slides easily onto the 45mm gearbox to give the required 45mm measurement from lock centre to front face.

Faulty gearboxes are the most likely cause of a broken multipoint lock, and replacing them is both cost-effective, and efficient, as it saves the complication and expanse of replacing the whole mechanism.

Did you know? Paddock gearboxes were chosen by numerous multipoint lock manufacturers, including Yale. Since the Paddock company was dissolved, Yale has been manufacturing and marketing their gearboxes under the Yale Lockmaster brand.

How to choose the right gearbox

You should choose a centre case that works with your handle spindle type, and with a matching backset size. Backset size is the measurement from the centre of the spindle/euro cylinder hole to the front of the edge of the door faceplate that the centre case sits behind. Spindle type refers to the spindle[s] of the handles that will engage with the centre case. Spindle options include, single, and dual for offset handles.

Not suitable as a replacement for the Lockmaster 21 centre case gearbox.
