The Fluval Surface Skimmer SK400 effectively removes unwanted water surface film, enhancing oxygenation and light penetration for a cleaner, healthier aquarium environment. Over time, surface films can form due to various factors, including oils from skin contact, household dust, and residues from fish food. These films not only detract from the visual appeal of an aquarium but also reduce the levels of oxygen available for fish and light essential for plant growth.

Key Features:

• Powered operation provides consistent skimming to quickly remove surface film and prevent future accumulation.
• Adjustable flow control slider accommodates use in aquariums of various sizes up to 400 litres (105 US gallons).
• Regulator dial for customised skimming intensity.
• Floating intake assembly adjusts to fluctuations in water level, ensuring uninterrupted operation.

By maintaining an optimal aquatic environment, the Fluval Surface Skimmer SK400 promotes better health for fish and plants. Its energy-efficient design minimises operational costs, making it a practical solution for aquarium enthusiasts seeking efficient surface maintenance.
