Hunt & Release | Streamers & Big Flies Your freshwater weapons of choice for putting large, meaty flies in motion, Redington’s most powerful rod series ever – Big Game – packs the heavy-lifting performance and hammer-strength endurance needed to hang with the heavy hitters. High-stoke and low-stress, the shorter Big Game 8-foot-3-inch lengths are perfect for pitching bass poppers, swim flies, and streamers with precision, while our core 9-footers like the 690 and 890 bring versatile velocity to your largemouth, smallmouth bass, and northern pike programs. And at the top end of the powerband, Big Game introduces a pair of highly specialized 11wt and 12wt musky rods equipped with the deep loading, fast action needed for casting the heaviest sinking lines… plus flies the size of your pet cat. With a timeless look inspired by classic predatory pursuits, the Big Game collection is meticulously tuned and crafted for your freakishly large fish cravings.
